Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the Central Teacher Eligibility Test CTET February 2026. Those candidates who are interested in this CTET Paper I and Paper II Primary and Junior Level can apply online from 17th September 2024 to 16th October 2024. Application Fee Single Subject (Tentative) General / OBC : 1000/-       SC / ST / PH : 500/- Both Paper (Tentative) General / OBC : 1200/-       SC / ST / PH  : 600/- Pay the Examination Fee Through SBI I Collect Fee Mode Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking or Pay the Exam Through SBI E Challan Fee Mode, Submit Fee Any Branches of State Bank of India.
CTET Primary Level (Class I to V): Eligibility with Code February 2026 Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education as per NCTE 2002 norms OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.Ed.) OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) OR Bachelor degree graduate with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) (a) who has obtained the qualification or Bachelor of Education from any NCTE recognized institution as a teacher Will be considered for appointment. Classes I to V Provided that the person appointed as a teacher shall compulsorily undergo a six months bridge course in elementary education recognized by NCTE within two years of his appointment as a primary teacher or Post Graduate with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade and passed or appearing in final year of three-year integrated B.Ed-M.Ed.
CTET Junior Level (Class VI to VIII): Eligibility with Code February 2026 Bachelor Degree and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). Or At least 50% marks in Graduation or Post Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). Or Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) as per NCTE norms OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.Ed.). Or Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed. Or Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. / (B.Ed Special Education) Any candidate having B.Ed qualification. programs recognized by NCTE are eligible to appear in TET/CTET. Further, as per the existing TET guidelines circulated by NCTE vide letter dated 11-02-2011, a person pursuing any teacher education course (recognized by NCTE or RCI, as the case may be) specified in the NCTE notification doing. dated 23 August 2010 are also eligible to appear in TET/CTET. Or Post Graduate with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade and passed or appearing in final year of three-year integrated B.Ed-M.Ed.
