How to Fill NTA JEE Main January 2026 Online Form. Step 1: Online Registration Visit the official website: Visit the official NTA JEE Main website at https://jeemain.nta.nic.in/. Click on the registration link: Click on the "Candidate Activity" or "JEE Main 2026 Registration" link. Select New Registration: Click on "New Candidate Registration." Read the instructions: Read all the important instructions carefully and check the 'I have downloaded the Information Bulletin...' box and click Proceed. Enter details: Enter your name, parent's name, date of birth, gender, ID type (e.g. Aadhaar/PAN), address, and security pin. Contact details: Enter your valid email address and mobile number (all future communications will be sent to these). Create a password: Choose a strong password, select a security question, and answer it. Obtain Application Number: After submitting your details, you will receive a system-generated application number. Note down this and the password you created safely. Step 2: Fill the Application Form Log In: Log in using your application number and password. Personal Details: Here you will need to enter your nationality, category (Gen/OBC/SC/ST/EWS), PwD status, and if you are diabetic. Educational Details: Enter the correct details such as the year of passing the 10th and 12th (or equivalent) exams, the name of the board, the roll number, and the percentage of marks/CGPA obtained. Exam Details: Which paper you wish to appear for (Paper 1-B.E./B.Tech, Paper 2A-B.Arch, Paper 2B-B.Planning). Select the medium of the exam (e.g., Hindi, English). Exam City Preference: Select four (4) exam cities as per your preference. Step 3: Upload Documents Upload your passport-sized photo and signature as per the specified size and format. Also upload your 10th standard certificate and other required certificates (such as category certificate). After uploading, ensure that all images and documents are clear and legible. Step 4: Fee Payment Verify Email ID: Before paying the fee, you must verify your email address via OTP (One-Time Password). Application Fee: Pay the required fee as per your category and selected papers. Online Payment: You can pay online using Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card, or UPI. Step 5: Download Confirmation Page Once the payment is successful, the Confirmation Page will appear on the screen. Download this page and take a printout and keep it safe for future reference. Without it, your application will be considered incomplete.
